We are blessed to have a schola and polyphonic choir for our Latin Mass, and a high soprano cantor for English Mass.
Low Latin Masses are very quiet with little singing from the choir, with hymns only during Processional, Offertory, Communion and Recessional.
High Latin Masses are the opposite! The priest sings much of the Mass, and the schola and choir sing the public responses (Kyrie, Benediction, Sanctus, Agnus Dei, etc.) plus additional hymns during the Processional, Recessional, Offertory and Communion.
During special feasts (Christmas and Easter), our choir doubles as Bell Ringers, bringing this ancient method of musical worship back in full force. We also perform Christmas Carols & Lessons prior to Christmas each year.
