HOW TO CONTRIBUTE Since our Community here at St. Thomas’ is not be a legal entity, we need to have our finances run through the books of St. Kateri Parish. Therefore, checks should be made payable to “St. Kateri Tekakwitha-Latin Mass Community” OR for short, “SKT-LMC”. Contributions can be placed in the blue envelopes OR loose in the collection baskets. Contributions deposited in envelopes from neighboring parishes will be returned to those home parishes and will not be credited to SKT-LMC. SKT-LMC envelopes deposited in neighboring parish collections will be returned and credited to us.
TO REGISTER with our Community, use the census forms found at the entrance door tables. Fill out the form and on the top write in clear letters: “LMC”. Place form in the collection basket. Welcome!
FIRST HOLY COMMUNIONS TODAY This morning, along with the Court of Heaven, we have the PURE JOY of witnessing the First Communion of these children of God: (at the 9 o’clock Mass) Ian Joseph Herrmann, Anthony Joseph Tramonto;
(at the 11:15 o’clock Mass) David Charles Armitage III, Abigail Goetting, and Helena Anna Podgorski.
Our Blessed Lord first gave us the Most Blessed Sacrament out of the extravagant love of His Sacred Heart. May He now and always impart to these new communicants that special grace to believe firmly in the Eucharistic mystery, to adore the Lord truly present therein to love Him Whom they welcome into their souls and bodies today, and to serve Him faithfully all the days of their lives. And may Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament obtain for ALL OF US the same grace to believe, adore, love and serve “the Bridegroom of our soul” in the “sweet Sacrament” of “divinest love.”
DONATION MADE On behalf of the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Latin Mass Community, a monetary donation has been made to the St Vincent de Paul Society in memory of Rosemary Donovan English+ (the recently deceased mother of Father Paul English, C.S.B, pastor of St.Kateri Parish).
COMMUNITY MEETING to be held in the church on Sunday morning, May 17, between Masses: 10 AM to 10:45 AM. Are you wondering how the SKT-LMC is doing? Do you have any other questions or comments? Let’s try getting together for the purpose of identifying our mission as a Church family and to build up the Body of Christ among us. A brief financial report will be given.
