DAILY ROSARY Did you know the Rosary is prayed in the church Monday through Friday at 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. and on Saturday at 8:45 a.m.? Come join us anytime.
WE DO NEED VOLUNTEERS to help maintain our facilities, especially in the area of church and parish center cleaning. We need YOU! Please email dflanigen@yahoo.com or call 467-8747. Enough volunteers will enable us to have rotating teams.
HAVE YOU SEEN OUR WEBSITE? Check it out at www.skt-lmc.org. Special thanks to Ben Anderson, Jason Herforth, and Jonathan Lane. Email address: contact@162.144.95.10. If you have any suggestions to add, contact benanderson@benanderson.us.
THE EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL, adjacent to the Parish Center must continue to be a very important powerhouse of prayer for us and for people in our area. Hours of adoration are on Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 10 PM (11 PM on Tuesday and Friday). WE NEED MORE ADORERS TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERY HOUR IS COVERED. Please consider signing up for an hour or being on the substitute list. See the posters at the church entrances. Contact Marie O’Leary at 467-1982.

CASE TRAINING The Diocese of Rochester requires volunteers who work with children, youth or vulnerable adults to participate in Creating a Safe Environment (CASE) training. If you plan to volunteer for a ministry that involves working with children, youth or vulnerable adults, you will need to take the class on-line from your home computer or attend a training session. Please call or email Kathy Beauchamp at 484-1810 or email lmcommunity3@gmail.com for further instructions.
WHEN YOU COME TO CHURCH, please turn OFF all cell phones, hand-held electronic devices, pagers, watch alarms, etc. ALSO, remember to dress appropriately (neatly and modestly). Unfortunately, in many churches today, people tend to “dress down” for Mass. How can this be??? RESPECT and REVERENCE toward God and neighbor (i.e. charity) should determine how we present ourselves in the House of God. Thank you, in advance, for your courtesy and cooperation.
FAITH FORMATION classes are ongoing. We continue to welcome new students to our program. There is no doubt that Bishop Matano will use the success of our Faith Formation classes as a factor when determining our future, so please consider enrolling your children with us. We are using the Faith and Life Series in conjunction with other supplemental materials to form our lessons. Our students will master their prayers, learn how to conduct themselves properly in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Chapel, and will be going to confession regularly as part of our classes. One of our main goals is for our children to head off to college living their faith and being able to defend it. Please allow us to support your work at home by enrolling your children. Come to the parish center today at 10:10 or email Andy Follaco with questions at andrew.follaco@bcs1.org.
DEADLINE FOR SACRAMENTS: There seems to be confusion over the requirements of children looking to receive sacraments this school year. I’m asking that by NOVEMBER 22nd, EVERY parent(including those who do not attend our CCD classes) who intends for their children to receive a sacrament through our community within the NEXT TWO YEARS to email Andy at andrew.follaco@bcs1.org to be sure that there are no surprises and all requirements put out by the diocese have been(or will be) satisfied. Please include your child’s name, current grade level, school attending, and sacraments received at this point.
FIRST PENANCE CLASSES: Those looking to have their children receive this sacrament must be in Grade 2 or higher, and needs to be signed up with Andy by emailing him at andrew.follaco@bcs1.org by NOVEMBER 22nd. Even if your child is enrolled in our program I need an additional email confirming that they will be receiving the sacrament. There will be four mandatory classes for your child and a mandatory parent meeting in order for your child to be eligible in our community. Be sure to look in the bulletin weekly for announcements regarding the start of the four week preparation process.

HELP CATHOLIC FAMILY CENTER ROC THE DAY WITH A DOUBLE-DONATION! A very generous local family is making it possible for Catholic Family Center to double its ROC the Day donations via a $20,000 match challenge. If CFC receives $20,000 in ROC the Day donations on December 1st, these donations will be matched for a total of $40,000! CFC provides hope to more than 32,000 of our least-fortunate neighbors in Monroe County each year. Please consider designating a ROC the Day donation to Catholic Family Center to make a wonderful difference in our community: www.roctheday.org
LEAVES – We made progress with the leaves last weekend, but as you probably noticed, have a bit more to gather! We hope to wrap up the project on Saturday, November 21, starting at 9 a.m. If you are available, even if just for a while, we would love to have you. Please bring a rake or a leaf blower.
COFFEE HOUR: CRISIS OR OPPORTUNITY? The fact that we are in urgent need of volunteers to host the coffee hours after both Masses on the First-Sunday-of-the-Month AND to host the coffee hours after the 9 o’clock Mass on the Third-Sunday-of-the-Month may seem like a CRISIS. But perhaps we should re-phrase it as an OPPORTUNITY! A golden OPPORTUNITY to show CHARITY and HOSPITALITY to others in our Community and to bring us together as a SPIRITUAL FAMILY! Please consider this a “spirit-building” labor of love. To volunteer, contact Father Bonsignore at 244-8692.
COFFEE HOUR TODAY after the 11:15 Mass only.
