HOW TO CONTRIBUTE Checks should be made payable to “St. Kateri Tekakwitha-Latin Mass Community” OR for short, “SKT-LMC”. If you have pre-printed envelopes, please use them. If not, contributions can be placed in the blue envelopes OR loose in the collection baskets. Contributions deposited in envelopes from neighboring parishes will be returned to those home parishes and will not be credited to SKT-LMC. SKT-LMC envelopes deposited in neighboring parish collections will be returned and credited to us. Please be aware that, even though the SKT-LMC operates financially under ST. KATERI PARISH, the SKT-LMC does not subsidize ST. KATERI PARISH, and ST.KATERI PARISH does not subsidize the SKT-LMC. We must rely on our own monetary income to support our activities and facilities.
ENVELOPE MAILINGS FOR REGISTERED MEMBERS: Enrollment registration to receive your Jan/Feb envelopes has now closed. If you do not receive your envelopes by December 26th, please contact Kathy Beauchamp at 484-1810 or email to lmcommunity3gmail.com.

WE DO NEED VOLUNTEERS to help maintain our facilities, especially in the area of church and parish center cleaning. We need YOU! Please email dflanigen@yahoo.com or call 467-8747. Enough volunteers will enable us to have rotating teams.
HAVE YOU SEEN OUR WEBSITE? Check it out at www.skt-lmc.org. Special thanks to Ben Anderson, Jason Herforth, and Jonathan Lane. Email address: contact@162.144.95.10. If you have any suggestions to add, contact benanderson@benanderson.us.
CASE TRAINING The Diocese of Rochester requires volunteers who work with children, youth or vulnerable adults to participate in Creating a Safe Environment (CASE) training. If you plan to volunteer for a ministry that involves working with children, youth or vulnerable adults, you will need to take the class on-line from your home computer or attend a training session. Please call or email Kathy Beauchamp at 484-1810 or email lmcommunity3@gmail.com for further instructions.
WHEN YOU COME TO CHURCH, please turn OFF all cell phones, hand-held electronic devices, pagers, watch alarms, etc. ALSO, remember to dress appropriately (neatly and modestly). Unfortunately, in many churches today, people tend to “dress down” for Mass. How can this be??? RESPECT and REVERENCE toward God and neighbor (i.e. charity) should determine how we present ourselves in the House of God. Thank you, in advance, for your courtesy and cooperation.
DAILY ROSARY – Did you know the Rosary is prayed in the church Monday through Friday at 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. and on Saturday at 8:45 a.m.? Come join us anytime.
THE EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL, adjacent to the Parish Center must continue to be a very important powerhouse of prayer for us and for people in our area. Hours of adoration are on Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 10 PM (11 PM on Tuesday and Friday). WE NEED MORE ADORERS TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERY HOUR IS COVERED. Please consider signing up for an hour or being on the substitute list. See the posters at the church entrances. Contact Marie O’Leary at 467-1982.

DEADLINE FOR SACRAMENTS: There seems to be confusion over the requirements of children looking to receive sacraments this school year. I’m asking that by THE END OF THE DAY TODAY, EVERY parent(including those who do not attend our CCD classes) who intends for their children to receive a sacrament through our community within the NEXT TWO YEARS to email Andy at andrew.follaco@bcs1.org to be sure that there are no surprises and all requirements put out by the diocese have been(or will be) satisfied. Please include your child’s name, current grade level, school attending, and sacraments received at this point.

ON THE CATHOLIC MINISTRIES APPEAL (CMA):
As announced and explained on the last two Sundays, we are being called upon to participate in this year’s (2015-2016) diocesan appeal: “We Are All One Body.” If you did not see the full-page letter describing this effort, there are extra copies on the ushers’ tables at the entrances. There you will also find pre-printed donation envelopes for your use. We have a definite, reasonable Community goal to meet ($5,400). When giving, it is important to identify ourselves (on the parish name line) as “St. Kateri Latin Mass Community,” and to mark “400” as our Donor ID. Please participate soon. Thank you for this also!
SECOND COLLECTION NEXT WEEK: taken up for: Catholic University and Other American Catholic Higher Education Institutions. Checks should be addressed to “St. Kateri Parish” because second collection contributions are handled on the parish level.

HELP CATHOLIC FAMILY CENTER ROC THE DAY WITH A DOUBLE-DONATION! A very generous local family is making it possible for Catholic Family Center to double its ROC the Day donations via a $20,000 match challenge. If CFC receives $20,000 in ROC the Day donations on December 1st, these donations will be matched for a total of $40,000! CFC provides hope to more than 32,000 of our least-fortunate neighbors in Monroe County each year. Please consider designating a ROC the Day donation to Catholic Family Center to make a wonderful difference in our community: www.roctheday.org
NEEDED: COFFEE HOUR VOLUNTEERS to host the coffee hours after the 9 o’clock Mass on the First-Sunday-of-the-Month AND/OR on the Third-Sunday-of-the-Month. Here is a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY to show Christian CHARITY and HOSPITALITY, and to build up “Community spirit.” The event need not be a laborious or over-whelming project. Sometimes simplicity is good enough! Father Bonsignore at 244-8692.
THANKSGIVING DAY MASS will be offered this week on Thursday morning at 10 AM in the Ordinary Form (English) Mass. The singing of Mass-parts and Thanksgiving hymns, and the playing of the organ will make a simple Mass special, not to mention the gratitude in our hearts for all of God’s goodness to us. (A Latin Mass celebration will not be possible this year).
