CASE TRAINING The Diocese of Rochester requires volunteers who work with children, youth or vulnerable adults to participate in Creating a Safe Environment (CASE) training. If you plan to volunteer for a ministry that involves working with children, youth or vulnerable adults, you will need to take the class on-line from your home computer or attend a training session. Please call or email Kathy Beauchamp at 484-1810 or email lmcommunity3@gmail.com for further instructions.
DAILY ROSARY – Did you know the Rosary is prayed in the church Monday through Friday at 8:15 a.m. and 6 p.m. and on Saturday at 8:45 a.m.? Come join us anytime.
WHEN YOU COME TO CHURCH, please turn OFF all cell phones, hand-held electronic devices, pagers, watch alarms, etc. ALSO, remember to dress appropriately (neatly and modestly). Unfortunately, in many churches today, people tend to “dress down” for Mass. How can this be??? RESPECT and REVERENCE toward God and neighbor (i.e. charity) should determine how we present ourselves in the House of God. Thank you, in advance, for your courtesy and cooperation.
FAITH FORMATION

EVERY parent (including those who do not attend our CCD classes) who intends for their children to receive a sacrament through our community within the NEXT TWO YEARS to email Andy at andrew.follaco@bcs1.org to be sure that there are no surprises and all requirements put out by the diocese have been(or will be) satisfied. Please include your child’s name, current grade level, school attending, and sacraments received at this point.

We will be DECORATING THE CHURCH on Sunday, December 20, at 1:00 p.m. Please join us if you are able to help.
FOOD CUPBOARD DONATIONS – Just a reminder that every Sunday throughout the year, we collect donations for the St. Andrew’s and Sister Regis food cupboards. Donations may be placed in the green baskets at each of the entrances.
THE EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL, adjacent to the Parish Center must continue to be a very important powerhouse of prayer for us and for people in our area. Hours of adoration are on Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 10 PM (11 PM on Tuesday and Friday). WE NEED MORE ADORERS TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERY HOUR IS COVERED. Please consider signing up for an hour or being on the substitute list. See the posters at the church entrances. Contact Marie O’Leary at 467-1982.

CATHOLIC MINISTRIES APPEAL (CMA)—GREAT NEWS!
It is with great excitement and pride that I can announce that our St. Kateri Latin Mass Community here at St. Thomas Church has met and exceeded our 2015/2016 goal of $5,400! I am truly grateful to you for your generosity! However, while we have achieved our financial goal for the CMA campaign, our level of participation is only at about 20%. Therefore, there is still 80% of our registered individuals and families that have not yet contributed to this year’s campaign. As I stated in my initial letter to the Community, there is no set gift or pledge amount that you need to follow, as everyone has a different level of charity and sacrifice. That being said, it is important that we demonstrate that the SKT-LMC is truly grateful to Bishop Matano for his initial and ongoing support of us, and participating more widely in the CMA is one of the best ways we have to show him our appreciation.
And so, I ask that if you have not yet made a gift or pledge, please do so soon. There is no dollar amount too small—even a gift of $5, $10, or even $20 would be greatly appreciated, as a show of your support.
At the end of Mass today, please consider taking a pre-printed white donation envelope (found on the ushers’ tables at the doors). Ushers will be on hand to assist you. If you would like to make a donation before you leave the church, pencils will be available. You can leave your completed donation envelopes with the ushers, and your gifts will be forwarded to the Diocese.
Note: on the donation envelope, the parish name line should be filled in with “St. Kateri Latin Mass Community”, and the donor ID should be marked as “400”.
